Holy land Tour
After breckfast at the hotel Transfer We start our day at the Mount of Olives to take in the panoramic view of Jerusalem. Then visit the Pater Noster shrine, which is built over the grotto in which Jesus assembled His disciples and taught them the Pater Noster – The Lord’s Prayer [Luke 11:1-4]. Walking down, the “Palm Sunday Road”, to visit Dominus Flevit – “The Lord wept.” It was here that Jesus wept over Jerusalem [Luke 19:41] as He foresaw the destruction of the Temple. Continue to Gethsemane, where Jesus’ spent his final night. The Garden contains trees, the roots of which go back 2000 years. Visit the Church of All Nations built over a section of bedrock identified as the place where Jesus prayed alone in the garden on the night of his arrest. From there he was taken up the Kidron valley to be interrogated and imprisoned at the house of the High Priest Caiaphas, now called the Church of Peter in Gallicantu, and then visit Mt. Zion to see the Tomb of David and the Upper room – the place of the Last Supper, and then drive to Bethlehem. Here you will visit the Church of the Nativity, which rests over the cave where Jesus was born and was, originally built by the Emperor Constantine in the 4th century. Visit the Shepherds’ Fields where the Angel appeared to the Shepherds, and then to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day dedicated to visit to the Old City to walk through the Jewish Quarter. At the steps of the Southern Wall of the Temple Mount remember the presentation of Jesus at the Temple, the finding of Jesus at the Temple and the healing of the blind man in defiance of the Priests. After viewing the Western Wall (also known as the Wailing Wall) thereafter, we recall the final hours of Jesus' life at Pilate's Judgment Hall, the Chapel of Flagellation and the Arch of the Ecce Homo "Behold, the man". We walk and pray along the Via Dolorosa - the "Stations of the Cross" where Jesus carried and fell beneath the weight of his cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and then to the Garden Tomb for the Holy communion, and then drive to Jericho, the oldest city in the World. Visit Jericho view Wall and Mount Temptation, and then drive to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found then enjoy a swim in the Dead Sea and then to our hotel for dinner and overnight
Dreakfast at the hotel, We check out our hotel and then drive along the Mediterranean Sea towards Caesarea enjoy a leisure walk around the Roman Aqueduct, and then drive north to Haifa. View the port of Haifa Bay and Shrine of the Bab, which is surrounded by the beautifully landscaped terraced gardens of The Baha’i Gardens. The shrine, with its golden dome, Italian marble walls and granite pillars, was built in 1953 and has become one of the major tourist sites in Haifa, and visit Stella Maris, and then drive to visit Nazareth, the boyhood village of Jesus, now, a bustling city. At the Church of the Annunciation you will see visitors from all corners of the world, and this is reflected in the décor of the modern building. Then to visit the Byzantine Church at Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle at the wedding [John 2:1-11], and then to our hotel in Tiberias for dinner and overnight.
To day after breakfast we will drive to Galilee, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee, where you can recall Jesus calming the waters. The day continues at the Mount of Beatitudes to mark the Sermon on the Mount, followed by visit to Tabgha where Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000. A short distance away is the site known as “Peter’s Primacy,” the site where, after His resurrection, Jesus met with His disciples and told Peter to “feed my lambs; feed my sheep.”[John 21:9] From here visit Capernaum where Jesus began His Galilean ministry, to see the synagogue where He taught and the church built over the site of Peter’s home, and then to baptismal site at the mouth of the Jordan River to contemplate the baptism. and then drive to Mount Tabor to the visit the church of the Transfiguration, and then we will drive back to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
After Breakfast at the Hotel, we drive back to sheikh Hussein border then proceed to visit Mount Nebo which an elevated ridge that is approximately 817 meters (2680 feet) above sea level. The view from the summit provides a panorama of the Holy Land and, to the north, a more limited one of the valley of the River Jordan. The West Bank city of Jericho is usually visible from the summit, as is Jerusalem on a very clear day, according to ancient tradition; this is the mountain from which Moses saw the Promised Land before he died. Upon completion the visit lunch in Local restaurant then you will drive to Amman airport according to your departure flight.
